My client is seeking a robust credit control specialist to join their busy but friendly finance team. This role is based in Milton Keynes and reports to the Credit Control Manager. The overriding objective of this role is to maintain an effective credit process and developing positive customer relationships with new and existing customers.
Duties include:
* Opening and assessing new customer accounts.
* Managing a wide and diverse ledger with effective cash collection.
* Responsible for the day to day management of customer accounts ensuring completeness, accuracy and validity.
* Calculation and review of bad debt provision.
* Reduction of overdue debtor balances.
This role requires someone who has experience in a similar role as they will need to hit the ground running. This person will need to be able to deal with all sorts of people when carrying out the duties of the role, some of whom may be difficult.
The office environment is very friendly and so this will be a great role for someone with the relevant experience.
