Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a large food manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with FMCG experience or from a practice back ground that is part qualified.

Client Details

The client is a large leading food manufacture

Description

  • Play a key role in assisting the Finance Manager to develop and enhanced the control environment, including implementing Group Standardisation controls
  • Perform daily Bank Reconciliations for review
  • Perform weekly Petty Cash and Voucher control accounts reconciliations
  • Lead the Company Credit card & Expense claim process & related controls
  • Assist with performance Supplier Statement reconciliations & reviews
  • Review monthly reconciliations of AR & AP Ledgers to the General Ledger
  • Full reconciliation of assigned control accounts for review
  • Full preparation of month end management accounts and year end accounts, ensuring that the reporting deadlines are met
  • Responsibility for preparing for review and uploading the YTD Trial Balance to the Group Reporting tool
  • Monthly Reconciliation and agreement of all inter company balances
  • Responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Responsible for preparing monthly EC sales returns
  • Responsible for preparing completion of national statistics

Profile

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in all the above- Essential
  • Part qualified - Essential
  • Experience working in Practice - Essential
  • Experience of FMCG - Desirable

Job Offer

£30,000 + Pension + Parking + Holidays
