Description

  • The primary focus of the role is to support of European legal entities within the Europe Satellite Accounting team to meet local and statutory compliance requirements in the region
  • Validate and sign off on month end accounts as prepared by Global Accounting Team in accordance with US GAAP
  • Generate statutory accounts compliant with local reporting including filing of local accounts and managing statutory audits to support & corporate tax compliance,
  • General accounting and reporting (including corporation tax, VAT, accounting for payroll taxes, import/export compliance)
  • Providing finance support to the entities officers and employees

    • Profile

    The successful Financial Accountant will:

    • Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA)
    • Be a technically strong accountant with previous experience
    • Have strong practical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
    • Previous experience of using Oracle, SAP or other large ERP system
    • Practical experience of applying accounting standards to real-life situations
    • Have a strong personality and the gravitas to influence key stakeholders
    • Be ambitious and motivated to progress a long term and successful career

    Job Offer

    Salary to up £60,000 plus benefits
