The job is at a renowned salmon smokehouse in East London for someone with a bubbly personality that's looking for part time work. The role is a hybrid between payroll and purchase ledger clerk so offers the diversity in the role for 20 hours a week.
Client Details
The client is one of London's oldest Salmon Smokery, established in 1905. Based at their modern premises East London, the Purchase Ledger/Payroll Clerk will report to the Finance Manager as part of our young Accounting team.
Description
The key responsibilities include:
- Processing invoices
- Carrying out payment runs
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Sending out remittance advice
- Carrying out weekly payroll for 70 staff
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Immediately available or on short notice
- Be able to work for 20 hours a week across 4 or 5 days a week
- Have a background within Finance in either Accounts Payable, Payroll or both
- Very outgoing and vibrant personality to bond well with the small yet fun accounting team
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate is:
- A salary of up to £25k prorated to 20 hours a week
