Based in London, you'll protect and enhance the reputation of our business in EMEA across all media matters.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Corporate Communications and Investor Relations team and focus on activity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will engage with media to maximise their understanding of Macquarie Group and its businesses in the region.
You will report to the Senior Media Relations Manager for EMEA and will be responsible for managing proactive and reactive media relations activities, developing key relationships with journalists whilst maintaining an overview of Macquarie's media activity globally and working closely with your colleagues in our other regions.
You will be a capable media manager and with experience in a similar role within an in-house press office or PR agency. Experience in either energy or financial sectors is desirable. Your level of enthusiasm and appetite to learn, as well as your exceptional communication and judgement skills will see you flourish in this role.
