A well-established Irish Construction company are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant with 1-2 years accounts experience on a permanent, full time basis. Responsibilities: Input of bank transactions Conduct weekly bank reconciliations Perform monthly supplier account reconciliations Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Review and maintain control over the debtors ledger Provide support to the financial team as required Other adhoc duties which may be required from time to time Requirements: 1-2 Years previous experience in an accounts/finance administration role desirable Proficient IT skills - especially excel & word Experience taking accounts to trial balance stage Accounts software experience Good communication and team work skills Excellent time management skills and ability to work to a deadline Strong attention to detail Flexible and adaptable approach Ability to work on their own initiative
