My client is a Public Sector organisation based in South Wales.
Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Internal Auditor with significant Public Sector Audit experience to join a large Public Sector client based in South Wales.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the Audit manager will join a large Audit team and will be responsible for delivering complex Audits on the Audit plan and managing more junior members of the team.
You will scope out the requirements of the Audits on the plan, agree time-frames and deliver the Audit to very high standards. You will be responsible for producing the Audit report to a high standard with recommendations for improvements.
Profile
You will be a fully qualified Internal Auditor and hold ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or IIA qualifications.
You will have significant PQE gained in a senior role in the Audit Department of a Public Sector organisation
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be at ease meeting with senior stakeholders internally.
You will have excellent attention to detail
You wont need motivated by the Head of Audit! You will be very self sufficient and be able to deliver to a high standard at speed.
Ideally you will have managed more junior staff members.
Job Offer
This role falls inside of scope of IR35.
Salary c£250 - £300 per day.
7 month initial assignment. Potential for extension.
