Hotel Accountant / Assistant Financial Controller
The Limerick Strand (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) are currently looking to recruit a Senior Hotel Accountant for our 4* Hotel About the role: Reporting to the Hotel Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department. Primary tasks of the role will include the following: Bank Reconciliations Payroll forecasts Preparation of Weekly Revenue Forecasts Forecast and control payroll on a weekly basis Oversee the processing of Payroll, Debtors, Accounts Payable, Cash and Income Audit Prepare monthly pay files to Creditors Preparation of month end accounts to include P&L and Balance Sheet Assist with external auditors Prepare monthly VAT and P30 returns The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector . Strong IT skills with experience of Opera, Micros, Micropay, TAS, Alkimii and Procure Wizard would be an advantage Apply in confidence for this role by completing the details below and attach a current Curriculum Vitae.
