The g Hotel & Spa are now recruiting for an experienced Revenue Manager to join the team of this iconic property Reporting directly to the General Manager, the revenue manager will be part of the senior team and play a pivitol role in the success of the hotel The Role: To maximise revenues through the Commercial Management of Bedroom & Meeting Room Sales, by setting proactive, strategic selling strategies & action plans that are aimed to over deliver planned revenues. Main Duties: To ensure all Best Practices are in order to maximise sales potential. To ensure commercial management techniques are applied to maximise revenues across Bedrooms & Meeting Rooms, using the following tools: Yield Management Systems Effective Diary Management Conversion Statistics & C&B Booking Lead Times Analysis of Booking Patterns & Market Trends Monitoring Competitor Performance Sales Action Plans Effective Management of Availability through all Channels To produce accurate forecasts To ensure a Clear Sales Strategy is in place for each level of demand & is communicated throughout the hotel. Ensure Top Producers for Bedrooms & Meeting Rooms are monitored & reviewed in order to action any shortfall / growth. To constantly review Regretted Business to ensure the Business on the Books is the most profitable. To liaise with Corporate Marketing to ensure all promotion / programmes are fully understood and right for the business. To ensure revenue meetings are held regularly, are effective and are attended by all Key Players Analysis & reporting of Actual Performance vs Plan & Forecast identifying trends that will impact future performance. Analysis & reporting of Actual Performance vs Competitor Set Ensure future strategies are aimed at the optimum Business Mix to maximise Yield Ensure the Team have a full understanding of Actual Performance vs Plan / Forecast & the Strategies in place. Control all Departmental Budgets The Person: You will have strong previous experience in a Revenue Management position, ideally within the hospitality industry A high attention to detail with strong financial management and analytical skills is required The successful candidate will also be naturally customer focussed in their approach to the role The g Hotel is an equal opportunities employer The support of agencies is not required at this time
