Driving top line income performance through decision support to the executive team and their reports. The role will require building knowledge of various systems and processes, the payments industry and clear understanding on the ecom business and its income and profit drivers.

The key purpose of the role is to:

  • Support the eCom regional commercial teams in delivery of their revenue targets in order to meet both the internal and external expectations on growth and strategic value behind the merger
  • This role will also provide best in class partnering support to heads of; Business Development and Relationship Management and overall General Manager (regional model)
  • Objective here to track, report and forecast sales and work closely with the sales teams to ensure delivery of plan
  • Identify opportunities for incremental growth and build action plans to deliver alongside the commercial teams
  • Being point of contact on income drivers and variances and also work closely with Pricing and Sales Enablement teams to ensure alignment of performance and development of pipeline (both revenue synergy and new business)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Net Revenue and Segment Profit delivery for eCom regions and ensure General Manager is aligned on flightpath of in year P&L in addition to comfort that pipeline is robust enough for next year's growth expectations
  • Ensure leaders are equipped with regular, insightful reporting and planning tools to support decision making and course correction where necessary
  • Leverage Management Information and draw on knowledge to deliver recommendations to Sales leaders that are Net Revenue accretive or protecting downside impact
  • Further ensure Management Information is fit for purpose for reporting and aligned across key users and stakeholders
  • Drive the budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles to ensure final numbers include challenging the commercial leadership on their assumptions and these are understood and agreed by with eCom CFO and MD
  • Review monthly financial performance against prior year, budget and forecast, understand trends and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Lead quarterly commission cycles for both teams to ensure accurate compensation against recorded performance. Be required to have tenacity to challenge and defend against exceptions outside of plan rules
  • Build strong working relationships with senior commercial management in order to ensure the business units business plans are delivered and longer term growth aspirations are within reach
  • Work alongside Pricing and Sales Enablement teams to ensure linkage to bids, pipeline progression, consistency of messaging on deal size and timing
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, and drive through change in order to reduce inefficiencies within the business

Ideal Candidate

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with c.5 years post-qualification experience
  • A background working in a similar FBP/FP&A role with a Fintech/Payments/Ecommerce/Challenger Bank
  • Excellent stakeholder management skillset
