They have grown to now have a number of sites across the country, and offer services to a wide range of customers.

Description

This is a broad, hands on Finance Director / Head of Finance position. The successful candidate will help drive the continued growth of the business, and this will come through the provision of excellent financial control and processes, as well as the commercial acumen to effect change.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Improving business performance, profitability and revenue growth
• Taking a key role in the funding and investment cycle
• Oversight of cash flow and careful management of working capital
• Establishing strong and robust internal controls and procedures
• Budgets and forecasts
• Managing bank and asset funding covenants
• Assisting with bids and tender processes
• Analysis and review of costs / identification of savings
• Reviewing and reporting sales and marketing budgets
• Review and management of business planning and reporting processes
• Risk and Opportunity management
• Provision of strategic direction to the business as a whole

Profile

The successful candidate for this Finance Director position will have a fantastic blend of commercial and technical experience, and will most likely have strong experience of leading a finance function whilst providing strategic direction.

You will have strong interpersonal and management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.

Experience of tendering for services contracts will also be beneficial to your application.

Job Offer

Basic salary of up to £80,000 + car / allowance, pension, healthcare
