A highly successful and growing chartered accountancy practice, based in Bristol has a requirement for an experienced Trust Accounts and Tax Senior to join their highly regarded team, in a role and firm offering a clear career path, with increasing responsibility, client contact and progression on offer. Given the depth and quality of firms clients, the role also offers exposure to challenging and interesting work.

Based in Bristol, this leading chartered accountancy practice has experienced a significant and prolonged period of positive growth, set to continue and the position has evolved as a result of organic client growth, with the need to invest in the right professionals. You will be joining at a key time, with the potential to really carve a career path within this highly regarded team and firm. Clients are typically high net worth, with estates, wide ranging industry business involvement, as well as rural related businesses and interests.


Joining as Trust Accounts and Tax Senior, based from the firms Bristol offices, you will be responsible for the hands on preparation of Trust Accounts and Tax returns for a significant number of high net worth clients. Along with a technical hands on involvement, working with Partners and Managers on the delivery of a quality compliance service on this side, you will also have lots of potential to develop relationships with clients, building on this over time, dealing directly with clients, trustees their advisers and beneficiaries. You will have scope for involvement in wide ranging planning and more added value project work, over time as you develop within the firm and role. There will be a clear progression path here, both given the growth, plans for the future, along with appraisal systems in place. You will benefit from both exposure to top tier quality clients and work, along with working in an environment where work life balance is valued and encouraged, getting the best of both worlds without having to compromise on either front.


The ideal candidate here will be able to demonstrate experience within Trust Accounts and Tax, dealing with HNWIs, estate work and similar private clients. You will have a career background in this area ideally, committed to developing your career and progressing within this specialist area and bring a background working for a firm of chartered accountants, or specialist business providing these services to this range of clients. You will be looking to progress and further your career in this field with the clear ability to build relationships with clients, bringing the communication skills, confidence and ability to develop within this successful team and firm. You may be CTA and/or STEP qualified, studying, or you may have developed a career in this field through experience alone and candidates are invited to apply across this range.

Job Offer

£30,000 - circa £40,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits, negotiable.
