A leading Irish pharmaceutical PLC currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work cross-functionally with the wider Finance group, and maintain strong relationships with the key internal and external client base. The role has been guided at €70,000 basic, with full benefits. Candidates must be qualified accountants with 4-5 years PQE, and have prior experience in a business partnering role. Responsibilities: Reporting and preparation of financial analysis, forecasting, metrics and dashboards to support some of our largest clients Prepare and review quarterly client external forecast on a detailed clinical trial level for external distribution Support the internal Strategic Alliance VPs and other Operational Senior Management in routine and ad-hoc client reporting Partner with Client Finance counterparts, as well as internal stakeholders including Contracts, Finance, Strategic VP's, Operations, Business Development and Proposals Prepare ad-hoc financial and business case analysis Work with Manager and Senior Director to develop the financial modelling function to support Sponsors with ongoing cash flow needs Assist Manager and Senior Director in standardizing reporting tools and templates Act as the primary representative during bid defence and ongoing client meetings Supervise a team of Financial Analysts Recognize, exemplify and adhere to values which centre on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance Requirements: Qualified Accountant with 4+ years PQE Excellent communication skills, proven ability to interact with Senior Executives; capability to think strategically, solve problems, understand customer needs, and develop solutions and presentations to resolve them Proficient and broad financial capabilities around program or project budgeting, profit measurement, sensitivity analysis, and client reporting A confident, decisive person with strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with good organization skills and good attention to detail Demonstrated ability to attract, mentor and train talented commercial and financial staff
