About Financial Reporting Advisory Services

Grant Thornton’s Financial Reporting and Advisory Services (“FRAS”)provides support services relating to complex financial requirements in a wide range of scenarios such as:

• capital raising in domestic and international markets (including IPOs & private equity)
• transaction support, e.g. design of contracts, contract analysis etc.
• Dispute resolutions & forensic accounting
• on-call accounting advice on topics such as financial instruments, revenue recognition, cost capitalisation, etc.
• group reporting (including framework development)
• accounting & consolidation manuals
• restructuring, acquisitions and divestitures (M&A)
• regulatory compliances, including XBRL, and others

Job Description
• Provide accounting advisory support, including Ind AS implementation assistance
• Prepare first time consolidated financial statements
• Draft accounting manuals and align chart of accounts
• Provide transaction oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition, etc.
• Provide support for forensic accounting investigations, dispute resolutions etc.

Candidate Profile
• Qualified Accountant with 3+ years experience and a good academic record.
• Understanding of accounting and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively.
• Strong MS Excel skills, along with good working knowledge of other computer programs.
• Ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel domestic and internationally
