The key focus will be on the following areas:

  • Delivery of cost management reporting suite for Corporate Clients, and ensuring continuous improvements to current processes
  • Provide primary support to the Cost Allocation process and Head Office Reporting requirements.
  • Support the Multi-year planning process
  • Develop business profitability and insights on cost drivers to support business steer and growth initiatives
  • Enhance Finance support to business partners by improving linkages between management reporting and strategic agendas
  • Delivery of cost management reports in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and completeness of financials
  • Provide local management and business units with controlling relevant information including meaningful commentary for the entity and respective business units with a focus on Cost
  • Responsible for the direct and indirect Cost Allocation process
  • Develop and maintain a well-rounded understanding of business performance
  • Identify financial issues and provide insightful commentary
  • Manage income sharing and transfer procedures
  • Implement new group and local requirements to ensure consistency in group-wide reporting and enable appropriate steer of business activities
  • Ongoing review and improvement of processes to generate efficiencies
  • Work on ad hoc projects as and when necessary


  • · Relevant work experience in Controlling/ Business MI function of 3-5 years
  • · Ability to translate medium complex information in a clear and concise manner to senior management
  • · Ability to work both independently and in strong collaboration with the team
  • · Extensive analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to challenge
  • · Strong control mindset
  • · Ability to confidently face the business and other internal clients on medium-complex issues
  • · Ability to not just identify risk issues but also competent in proposing solutions
  • · Collaborate with the team and other areas within the organisation to support Group strategy
  • · Represent the department and its interests in cross-departmental workshops
  • · Knowledge of global markets and banking products preferred
