JOB SUMMARY

For this position, you will be responsible for the daily functioning of Finance and Accounting for GP Pakistan including generation of monthly financial reports, treasury, budgeting, and filing of reports to GM Finance. It also requires coordination and cooperation with the GM Finance to implement organizational and distributors' financial and accounting rules and procedures and to coordinate with field office(s) on Finance and Accounting issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Supervision, preparation and finalization of the monthly Accounts and ensuring the compliance of the applicable laws, and reporting to GM Finance and MD.

Reviewing and supervising the monthly reconciliation of the revenue, receivables, payables and inventory and intercompany transactions.

To ensure timely compliance/submission of returns of income and sales tax.

Authorization and posting of bank transactions and ensuring the bank reconciliation on regular basis.

Collaborating with the Finance Managers to support overall department goals and objectives.

Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and utilizing resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Ability to handle and properly incorporate non-routine reporting transactions.

Responding to inquiries regarding Accounts from the GM Finance and Senior Management.

Coordinating with an Internal Auditor to implement the proper internal controls suggested by IA.    

Coordination and liaison with external Auditors to conduct the statutory Audit on timely basis.

Ability to handle Accounts Team with proper segregation of duties.

Hands-on experience and application of companies' Act 2017, Income Tax, Sales Tax and Import Procedures in Pakistan.

Education: Master's degree in Accounting.CA Qualified with minimum 3-year experience preferably from the lubricant industry.

CA is Must .

Computer Skills:

·            Familiarity with Internet resources Ms. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·            Experience of working on Accounting Software especially Oracle.
