Description

Joining as a Client Portfolio Manager , in the firms Bideford offices, you will take on the management of a varied portfolio, fully managing this portfolio, building relationships and looking to further develop the client base and wider department, working closely with Partners. You will be overseeing the delivery of accounting, taxation, other services and providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. There will be a good element of the role advising on wide ranging accounting and added value, advisory services eg tax planning, acquisitions and other project work
Alongside this, there will be involvement with developing and building client relationships and actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. You will have a client facing role and look to build relationships and add value to clients

Profile

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a career background in accountancy practice, at Client Portfolio Manager level with client and portfolio management responsibility. You will have a recent background working within accountancy practice, for firms ranges of any size, with historical hands on and more recent managerial, review skills, along with delivering wide ranging, advisory services and overseeing the delivery of accounts and tax services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs.

Job Offer

£35,000 - £45,000 or more, negotiable, dependent on the background and experience of the right professional, plus benefits
