Our client, a market leading global media business, is looking to hire an ambitious Manager to work on operational restructuring, cost reduction, and working capital improvement areas.
Focused on identifying and implementing sustainable performance improvement, your work will include:
*Work with department heads from Ops, Sales, Finance and Creative to lead European ERP integration efforts
*Focus on ERP integration project management and supervising execution by department heads
*Quickly understand challenging and rapidly changing situations to enable creative and innovative solutions/options for management
*Work with VP's, Directors and Mid management to deliver European projects through the management of multiple work streams
*Understanding key business processes
*Identifying quick wins to improve earnings
*Identifying cash levers to smooth cashflow/ conserve cash
*Helping realise cash quickly from their operations through working capital management
*Helping management develop and implement a turnaround or transformation programme
*Assessing operational and management teams within an organisation, identifying skill gaps
*Providing robust management and monitoring of change programmes
*Being responsible for the day to day leadership of projects with minimal oversight from the VP Operations
*Preparing presentations and/or reports to key stakeholders (e.g. Board, management.)
The role will be based in London, but requires flexibility to travel throughout Europe, depending on requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
*Experience of operational improvement programmes
*Advisory experience from a management consultancy, or as an 'internal consultant' in a corporate
*Operations experience,
*Proven P&L analysis, cash flow and balance sheet work
*Competent with spreadsheets, financial and operational KPIs.
