Investment Associate, Cleantech and Renewable Energy, Growing Family Office, London, UK

We are working with a successful family office that has offices in Europe and Asia. They have invested into a range of operational business in their portfolio, which span clean energy, oil and gas, real estate and hospitality. They are looking for an Investment Associate with a background in clean energy investing to help source, evaluate, execute and grow investment opportunities. This role is based in London.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a diverse network in order to identify the most promising entrepreneurs and partners in the new energy technology space
• Maintain strong relationships with the most promising venture captial firms in the UK and Europe
• Conduct preliminary financial and technical due diligence of sourced opportunities
• Monitor portfolio companies

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience of working for a start-up, helping to grow a start-up or promoting a start-up would be beneficial
• Ideally some experience of working within a venture capital fund, seed funding investment fund or consulting company
• Exposure to the clean energy sector is essential
• Excellent financial modelling skills and experience of evaluating investments into early stage companies
