Asset Manager - Investment Fund {Commercial leasing experience is a pre-requite for this role} The Company Our client's principal activity is to acquire and hold investments in Irish property (primarily commercial property) with a view to maximising shareholder returns. The company has built up a portfolio of properties that are now valued in excess €1.3bn establishing itself as one of Ireland's leading property companies and it has ambitious plan to consolidate and grow its market share. Consequent to their success and growth an opportunity has now arisen for a suitably qualified person to join its expanding team as an Asset Manager. The Role Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the duties of the Asset Manager will include: · Day to day asset management of a number of allocated properties within the property portfolio including managing lease renewals/re-gears, rent reviews and other lease events. · Participation in the formulation and implementation of asset management strategies for the allocated properties to maximise their value, including refurbishment and redevelopment. · Working closely with Building Management personnel on all aspects of the properties' day to day management. · Working closely with the Investment Department in relation to all aspects of the allocated properties' valuations. · Preparing and presenting reports on the allocated properties' performance. · Management of leasing activity to include: o Formulation of letting and marketing strategies and the management of agent relationships o Responsibility for the prompt execution of leases from the agreement of heads of terms to completion The Person · Degree in Property Economics, Estate Management or other property related discipline · At least eight years' prior experience operating in an asset management or agency role; demonstrable leasing experience including lease negotiations is essential for this role. · An energetic self-starter with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills together with drive, enthusiasm and commitment. · Professional; courteous; calm and efficient in approach; Ability to work on own initiative and within team environment · Excellent communication, report writing, organisational and computer skills, with high standard of accuracy and attention to detail · Membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors/Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland
