Page Personnel are working in partnership with a worldwide market leader based in South Liverpool for an immediately available graduate accountant.
This Graduate Accountant role is a commercial opportunity to have a hands on accountancy based role reporting to a talented financial controller.
This is based in a highly skilled team in Liverpool.
This Graduate Accountant role will include the following;
*To assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts to strict deadlines, helping to ensure that all Balance Sheet Accounts are reconciled each month, taking corrective action to guarantee timeliness and accuracy of information.
*To provide financial expertise and support for Site Accommodation. To ensure that the company operates effectively and correctly within the controls and guidelines set by the wider Group.
*Provide support to the Management team within the business, analysing and interpreting the accounts and ensuring there is full understanding of the financial implications of decisions and issues affecting your allocated business area.
*To ensure good communication with the wider Finance Department, sharing and using knowledge for the best interests of the business and the overall Group.
*To acquire and display a good understanding of the business and to provide management information to support the business.
*To assist with ensuring that the business complies with all accounting policies of the Group and make certain that accounting issues specific to the business are properly recognised and resolved.
*To assist with ensuring that the systems of control and reporting provide relevant, timely and accurate management information and be involved in cross company initiatives where required.
*To assist in influencing decisions affecting the cash flow and profitability of the business.
*To assist in the preparation of monthly profit and cash flow forecasts.
*To aid the annual budget process for the business ensuring reports are completed and deadlines met and a thorough budget is prepared.
*To assist in the preparation of annual statutory financial accounts and support the annual audit process
*To provide support and assistance to the Finance Manager / Financial Controller as required.
This role will require a talented Graduate Accountant who would one day like to become a qualified CIMA / ACCA accountant, you will need to have exposure to the following;
*Excellent understanding of the basic accounting functions such as, Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, Accruals and Prepayments, Analysing data and producing reports.
*Graduate in Accountancy and Finance or AAT
*Strong systems experience including Microsoft Excel and Accountancy software
*Communication skills this role will require liaising with colleagues at all levels and being able to communicate financial data effectively is essential.
This Temporary to Permanent role will offer;
*24 days plus Bank/Public Holidays and service days as applicable

*Full study support for CIMA / ACCA or end of AAT studies if this is not yet complete
