Finance Business Partner Provide support to the Commercial Financial Manager, Supply Chain Director, Warehouse Manager, Transport Manager and supply chain team in all areas of financial analysis and reporting for the supply chain. Have full responsibility for the financial reporting (weekly/periodic/quarterly), quarter-end hard close, forecast/budgeting and year-end audit processes for the supply chain. Provide a business partnering approach which delivers insight and challenges to the supply chain team. * Manage the payroll function ensuring all payroll processes are followed and continuously improved where necessary. Key Responsibilities Produce the supply chain weekly and periodic financial information including operational KPI's and financial variance reporting with a high level of insight, ensuring that all reports are published in accordance with agreed timeframes and to a high standard. Provide business support and challenge in all areas, through the use of financial information and KPI's, for example in cost control including payroll and protecting margin including the reduction in waste and OOD stock. Develop and support a continuous improvement culture within the supply chain and especially where Finance and supply chain interact. Ensure compliance with all operational processes and procedures within the supply chain. Manage the payroll function including the compilation of the payroll information on a weekly basis and ensure that colleagues are paid accurately and on time. Also, to ensure all payroll processes are followed and continuously improved where necessary. Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes for supply chain, by liaising with all relevant supply chain budget holders to produce the relevant information within the agreed timelines. Ensure that throughout the forecasting and budgeting processes that detailed variance reporting is generated and coupled with a high level of business insight. Provide commercial business support and challenge all cost areas in the forecasting and budgeting processes ensuring a bottom-up plan is generated for each new planning cycle. Provide support to the delivery of supply chain projects by providing insightful financial information. Provide any other reports/information as requested, ensuring that they are completed within agreed timeframes and to a high standard. Key Requirements Qualified Accountant with a membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA 5 years+ post qualification experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment Business partnering experience Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, especially with respect to large data sets Ability to plan and prioritize workloads to agreed deadlines Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels within an organization Good knowledge of accounting standards and practices Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and an achievement orientated approach to results Privacy Policy By applying for this role not only will your application be considered for this position but your details will be stored in our database and may be considered for similar future positions that may arise.
