The firms clients are varied in sector and turnover, into the multi millions and covering a wide spectrum of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. The firm focuses on the delivery of a quality compliance service across accounts, tax and wider general accountancy practice services provision. The firm has embraced the latest technology, cloud accounting and associated software and is set to make the most of forthcoming changes in the profession.
Joining as an Assistant Manager - Business Services, based from the firms Torquay offices you will take on both a hands on role, initially preparing/reviewing accounts and developing into the overall management of the delivery of wide ranging, accounts, tax, planning advisory services to a mixed client range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up into the multi-millions in turnover, building client relationships and working on wide ranging project work, as well as managing the delivery of a quality compliance service. You will also support the accounting team, managing the delivery of services over time. You will take a lead on assisting in their development and look to further the growth of the department and firm in a key role, within this successful business, working closely with Senior Managers, Partners/ Directors and progressing within this growing business.
You will ACA / ACCA qualified, with a background in the accountancy practice sector, having developed your career to Manager level or experienced Senior level, with demonstrable supervisory and managerial responsibilities. Your background will have been developed in any of Top/Mid Tier or independent firm background, of any size, with experience ideally with an accounts/tax focused background delivering for mixed industry SMEs, OMB ltd companies, sole traders and partnerships, across varied sectors and turnovers. £30,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits.
