Group Finance Manager

We’re already well on the way from being the UK’s favourite little smoothie brand to being Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks brand – with major operations across Western Europe and a range that spans smoothies, juices, coconut water, dairy free, gazpacho and more. To continue our impressive growth we want to hire a group finance manager to join our group finance team and own our external financial reporting and compliance as we scale and grow.

What you’ll be doing

This is a pretty weighty role in the business, you’ll own a lots of important functions from - setting us up for our external audit, meeting all our tax obligations, maintaining, interpreting and reporting of financial data - including month end close process and intercompany and fixed assets. You’ll also be involved in controlling reporting on our ingredients and finished goods movements across our international supply chain (e.g. VAT, Intrastat & EC sales reports).

Supporting our regions

We’re big in Europe now and we’ve some big expansion plans as well. To support this, you’ll be involved in establishing new entities and making sure we have the right group structures as we expand into new markets.  You’ll coordinate and align all our legal entity requirements across our regional finance operations, as well as support with SOX requirements.

You’ll own and coordinate the UK statutory reporting, audit, corporation tax returns and  also assist our regional teams in doing so -  as well as support our international teams on their reporting and compliance requirements. And, taking a key role in a range of projects including Brexit readiness and transfer pricing process.

A leader

This is a management position, you’ll be responsible for the recruitment, management, coaching and development of your team including external reporting analysts, all the while making sure that you’re sharing our vision of building a business that we’re proud of.

You’ll have

An ACA or ACCA qualification. Ideally with experience in an accounting practice, and with commercial experience both financial and technical.

But, as well as the technical skills you’ll be a great leader, with a track record of developing and inspiring teams as well as a varied group of stakeholders. Simplicity of comms is important to us, so you’ll be someone who can deliver a message in a concise and simple way, flexing your style appropriately.

You’ll also be as comfortable and capable being in the detail as you are seeing the big picture. The workload is diverse and time pressured so you’ll be ‘right first time’ type of person, comfortable keeping plates spinning whilst always delivering on time and to a high standard.

We also need someone with a critical eye, always asking if we can do things better and looking for innovative and creative ways to solve problems.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your finance and business knowledge as you’ll be exposed to various finance functions, financial reporting systems and controls.
