We are looking for an experienced Resourcing professional to join our newly created and highly driven Operations team within the Solutions function. Your role will involve the support and facilitation of the deployment of Solutions resources across various client projects.

Role purpose

Working within our Solutions function, the Resourcing Lead will provide SME capability across all resource planning and fulfilment systems

  • Technology \ Tooling SME
  • Data setup and usage SME
  • Special and bespoke reporting SME
  • Implement the tooling and data quality standards and governance
  • Training and coaching of resource tooling
  • 1st point of escalation for resource planning conflicts

Customer

  • Actively contribute to a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything we do
  • Act as a Resource Planning and Resource Tooling SME
  • Provide analytical insights into the Capability Managers, People Mangers and Leadership Team
  • Provide insightful commentary and direction across management reports and departmental meetings
  • Provide proactive response and support to ensure efficient resource planning and utilisation

Operations

  • Ensure that the operational services meet the expectations of the S&T teams and wider business support functions
  • Ensure the timely production of management information and key performance indicators are published with supportive value-add commentary
  • Act as a resource planning expert across the business unit
  • Have a deep understanding of the S&T teams processes, policies, etc
  • Ensure resources are efficiently utilised in conjunction with the capability managers

Team working & Collaboration

  • Drive the culture of "One Team"
  • Facilitate a healthy network across the business unit and wider organisation
  • Become an embedded service within the business unit, forging strong proactive and value adding relationships with People \ Capability Mangers and the leadership team

Process

  • Endorse governance, control, Risk Management and ensure all agreed policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Provide training and awareness of governance, control, risk management, policies and procedures to ensure business unit adoption
  • Ensure processes are aligned and efficient to provide a cost-effective supply chain

Systems

  • Ensure operational tooling is fit for purpose that provides timely accurate and single versions of the truth
  • Act as an SME across all resource management tooling
  • Drive cost efficiencies by the use of tooling and management information
  • Ensure operational tooling simplifies and supportive of operational processes

Relationship Management

  • Act as a relationship bridge across the Global organisation to provide networks in and out of the S&T department
  • Promote personal networking across the organisation
  • Ensure transparency and visibility across the department and wider global organisation
  • Facilitate business support areas to allow for single version of timely information, meetings and reports
  • Provide a "face" to the operations function across the organisation
  • Build a credible brand for the operational team across the organisation

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Resource and deployment experience, in a fast-paced environment for large staff numbers across multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent communication and strong influencing skills
  • Highly motivated; consistently takes initiative; demonstrated ability to work both independently and under supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise their workload, and that of others
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tool suite including latest versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable Skills and Experience (but not essential)

  • Experience of working as a service/supplier based organisation
  • Experience of ServiceNow resourcing system
