Summary: Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide customer and program support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Laboratory Division (LD) Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Provides administrative support to TEDAC executive management team. Performs varied clerical and secretarial duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of TEDAC. Maintains TEDAC executive calendars and makes appointments. Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings. Attends meetings and reports on the proceedings. Assists TEDAC executive management in preparing agendas for meetings. Drafts various documents to be disseminated throughout the FBI, government agencies, and non-government agencies. Requires competence in operating personal computers, printers, scanners, facsimiles, and basic office automation equipment. Requires competence in using various office automation software applications and programs, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Visio Basic, and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Applies knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and required formats. Establishes and maintains files and records, as required. Communicates effectively, orally and in writing. Assists with scheduling visits and passing clearances. Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) High school diploma. One (1) year of related experience as an office, administrative, or program assistant required; Two (2) years of related experience is preferred. Active Top Secret security clearance is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Able to prepare and modify documents; to include correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and e-mails. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Strong problem-solving skills, research skills, and attention to detail. Experience in prioritization of projects. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
