Our UK Assurance business is made up of 7,000 people based across the country, including over 300 Partners. Representing a diverse range of clients, it's a really exciting time to join us wherever you are in the UK.We also have opportunities in a brand new Competency Centre in Bradford/Leeds managing a team delivering non-judgemental audit work (Cash and PP&E) . You’ll build and maintain relationships with a diverse mix of clients virtually. You’ll get the opportunity to work with some of the largest FTSE 100 organisations within the UK to small SMEs whilst working flexibly with no travel requirements.
About the roleAs a Senior Associate in Assurance, you'll have the opportunity to work across our diverse and exciting client base of businesses that include large multinational listed and internationally headquartered; entrepreneurial and family owned; early stage and fast growth technology, life sciences and cleantech companies; and world leading public, educational and not for profit organisations. With a varied portfolio, you'll be able to gain experience and insight across these, as well as attending client events ranging from formal and technical seminars and dinners through to more relaxed, social networking You’ll be expected to:Provide audit and business advice to a variety of clientsProvide an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignmentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and established clientsWork and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality clients serviceReport directly to a partner, director, senior manager or managerHave supervisory responsibility for teams of up to 10 peopleCoach and train other staff
Essential skills and experienceACA or equivalent qualificationExperience of external auditUS GAAP and/or UK GAAP experienceA flexible approach and passion for client serviceA working knowledge of business development activityA desire to further your career and personal development
