E commerce/Digital payments manager

We are extremely proud to be partnered with a forward thinking and progressive financial services provider. On their behalf we are searching for an Ecommerce payments manager to lead a newly established team. You will conceive, develop and launch an e-commerce payment solution for the business. This role will be instrumental in defining the future vision for engagement in the e-commerce payments world and delivering projects.

To take on this challenging role we are seeking an experienced individual with an impressive record of accomplishment in delivering major ecommerce projects, an ability to develop customer centric products and services as well as proven strategic and analytical abilities to identify commercial opportunities.

Ideally, your experience will be in the digital banking and payments space. You will a passion for use of innovative technology-driven solutions to provide world-class customer experiences, coupled with an ability to lead and deliver teams to exceptional results.

Understanding of the European Banking and Payments environment is essential.

You will lead the project team to refine the commerce vision, develop the project plan and manage a team of internal and external resources to deliver solution.

Required Experience

• Degree/MSc/MBA or equivalent in a relevant subject is essential
• Significant experience with a demonstrated track record of digital project design and delivery, ideally within consumer financial or payment sectors
• Experience preferably within FinTech / Cards or Payments / any High Tech or Consumer environment
• Ideal experience includes digital end-to-end solutions and proprietary payment platforms
• Experience of designing customer centric products or propositions through new technology.
• Expertise in a broad range of e-commerce technology products and services is required
• You must also be able to collaborate and influence across divisions to deliver initiatives, and have experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in leadership roles with proven ability to work with diverse, cross functional, cross corporate teams
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Consistently demonstrate a passionate and enthusiastic approach, underpinned by a strong drive for results and willingness to see tasks through to a successful conclusion
