Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Assistant Management Accountant to join an exciting manufacturing company experiencing huge growth based in Warmley (East Bristol). For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£25,000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  • Assist Management Accountants to produce the monthly management accounts within the agreed timescales


  • Maintain all fixed asset registers, including asset finance schedules


  • Reconcile all stock control accounts, including stock takes as required


  • Prepare daily and monthly cashflows


  • Assist with the monthly payroll including the reconciliation of all payroll balance sheet accounts


  • Reconcile all foreign currency bank accounts


  • Process all credit card transactions


  • Provide support to the Purchase Ledger function including processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements and processing payment runs


  • Provide support to the Sales Ledger function including producing invoices/credit notes


  • Provide support to the Credit Control function as required


  • Produce annual P11d's


  • Assist Management Accountant with all aspects of accounting for the associated fuel company including Sales, Purchase & Nominal Ledgers and Management Accounts
  • Any ad-hoc work as required in the Finance department




Person specification:


  • AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience


  • Hands-on, flexible and self-motivated


  • High level of organisation


  • Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines


  • Excellent communication skills
