Part-Qualified Accountant– ACCA OR CIMA - Salary £25,000 to £30,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Based: Farnborough
We are searching for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our market leading Financial Services client in Farnborough. Workign within the finance team you will be required to assist in the processing and reporting of financial information. This role is ideal for someone currently studying towards their CIMA/ ACCA and will allow them to develop invaluable hands on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts
* Meet agreed deadlines and procedures
* Assist in the control and reconciliation of payroll processes
* Help prepare HMRC year-end returns, P60’s, P11D’d and PSA’s return
* Assist in the analysis of revenue, costs and expenses
* Identify any issues that require management attention or action
* Assist in the preparation and submission of ad-hoc forecasts and annual budgets
* Assist in the processing of Revenue transactions
* Process personal expenses on the PEMS expenses system
Candidate Skills Required:
* Must be studying towards CIMA/ ACCA with some qualifications taken already
* Previous experience in financial services sector is ideal but not essential
* Highly numerate with minimum of 2-3 years accounts experience so far
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Willingness to learn
