Our client is a leading firm, with a highly rated equity research group.
They are now looking to recruit an equity research associate to cover oil and gas companies.
In this role, you will write pieces of equity research on oil and gas companies for your clients - asset managers and hedge funds.
Day to day you will monitor market newsflow, conduct commercial, sector and financial analysis, speak to clients, attend company presentations, and marketing trips.
The successful candidate will have a background as follows:
- geologists or business analysts from the oil and gas/ exploration industry
- equity research analysts with oil and gas experience
- investment bankers looking to move into equity research
- ACAs/ CFAs wanting to move into equity research
- real interest in financial markets
