My client is a global bank with an established presence across the region. They are looking for a Sanctions advisory VP to be part of their robust compliance team. The coverage will be extended to APAC region and will be an ideal platform for sanctions professional to take their compliance career to the next level.

Responsibilites
  • Assist the APAC regional Head of Sanctions
  • Implement global sanctions policy in the region, and ensuring consistency with global requirements
  • Advise business and internal stakeholders on sanctions matters
  • Monitor global and regional sanctions regulatory developments, and to recommend policy adjustments
  • Manage the regional sanctions and embargoes procedures
  • Conduct trainings and briefings across the region
  • Assist in audit findings in relation to sanctions related matters

Requirements
  • Familiarity with sanctions laws and regulations application in APAC and international level
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sanctions related role, preferably in banking
  • Good knowledge of corporate and investment banking business
  • Excellent communications
