VP/AVP/MGR, Business Assurance & Control, Business Management, Global Markets

Job responsibilities:

Manage regulatory and operational risk for Global Markets segment
Conduct annual operational risk self-assessment for Global Markets divisions - identify key risks and perform required control testing, highlight control gaps and propose action plans
Facilitate internal audits and compliance reviews on Global Markets
Handle queries and provide guidance to Front Office on compliance and governance issues, such as conflict of interest and personal trading
Ensure dealers' adherence to regulatory requirements, through conducting new dealer briefings, and monitoring completion of required papers, e-learnings and training hours
Collate information for periodic MAS requests and during MAS inspections

Job requirements:

University Degree with 3 - 7 years' relevant working experience in Assurance / Compliance / Operational Risk function in a financial institution
Familiar with Treasury business, and good understanding of Treasury-related products and processes
Strong conceptual knowledge of risk and controls
Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders
Ability to multitask and be meticulous
Team player who can provide strong support and suggestions
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
