Accounts Assistant ( Maternity Cover ) 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Ennis Co Clare

Banner Motor Factors is a well established dynamic business in Ennis and Shannon Co Clare. Banner Motor Factors is part of Top Part Motor Factors with 17 branches nationwide and is successfully trading for 40 years. This is a six month fixed term contract for maternity cover, with the possibility of a permanent position within the group dependant on performance. The postition available is for an Accounts Assistant, with full time hours in Ennis Co Clare. This role would suit an experienced accounts assistant with at least 2-3 years accounts package experience preferable Quickbooks, who wants to advance in accounts in a good company.  This role is important to the smooth running of a busy business. This role may suit a person with qualification in ATI or a part qualified accountant. Duties: Processing all day to day tranactions to include: Preparing Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis. Preparing Creditors reconciliations on a monthly basis Dealing with employee and account queries. Posting of supplier invoices and credit card postings Completing daily lodgements and  online payments You will not be asked to process wages or process V.A.T as part of this role Ideal candidate: At least 2-3 years daily experience working with accounts packages ( Quickbooks preferable) Understanding of system integration, how point of sale works with accounts package is important. Excellent attention to detail, good business understanding. Excel Experience essential 2-3 years daily use. Team player and excellent communication skills Strong organisational skills, good telephone manner Works well under pressure This is not a junior entry level position, you will asked to use common sense and display initiative to achieve goals.
