Our client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments and individuals from more than 747 offices in 42 countries.

They are now hiring a junior Equity Sales Assistant on a long-term / renewable contract.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative duties and support to the Equities Sales & Trading teams.
  • Candidate will be able to coordinate Analysts/Sales meetings, by providing logistical support where necessary.
  • Assist in travel bookings, organize internal/external meetings for the team, and process expenses/claims.
  • All other general office responsibilities as directed by the respective Teams.

Requirement/Skills required:
  • Ideal candidate would have a strong propensity for delivering on tight deadlines and be proactive/self-starter.
  • Candidate will ideally hold a degree from a reputable University
  • Strong intrapersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions and prioritize work as required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills is a must.
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex initiatives to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Analytical mind set, attention to detail and ability to solve ad hoc issues.
  • Strong business acumen to be able to recognize and interpret commercial opportunities.
  • High degree of self-motivation and a strong desire to get a task completed accurately and efficiently as possible.
