Assistant Manager/Manager, Compliance

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for new client on-boarding and all regulatory compliance matters of HK, Labuan and Samoa Trusts in timely manner;
To facilitate regular client review process to ensure timely completion;
Responsible for stakeholder and internal client relationship management, understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business in order to strike a balance;
Assist in regulatory enquires and audits;
Update and maintain all relevant client information/files into the system in timely and accuracy manner;
Required to stay up to date with the latest regulatory, policy and procedural requirements;
Handle any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

At least 6 years of solid trusts compliance experience in financial institutions or professional services firms;
Candidates with more experience may be considered for the role of Compliance Manager;
Degree holder in Law, Accounting, or related discipline;
Familiar with regulatory compliance matters of HK, Labuan and Samoa Trusts;
Ability to build strategic working relationship with all business and support units as well as regulatory authorities;
Excellent people management skills;
Understand FATCA and CRS including how to complete the relevant forms, basic knowledge on classification, etc;
Understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business in order to strike a balance
A team player with good stakeholder management skills;
Knowledge in SAP and Viewpoint will be an advantage;
Professional fluency in written and oral English with a good command of Chinese.
