An internationally expanding technology consultancy is growing their function with high calibre individuals to support the growth of the organisation and is looking to recruit a newly-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant in a financial accountant position.
Client Details
My client is a technology consultancy based in the City of London. They have grown steadily in the past few years and are now undertaking further international expansion projects. As a result of this they have a newly-created opportunity for a newly-qualified ACA accountant.
Description
As the financial accountant you will be tasked with delivering the external reporting and supporting a number of projects. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivery of the group reporting requirements under IFRS/US GAAP including ownership of the consolidation process;
- Playing a key role in the half-year and year-end reporting and being comfortable liaising with the auditors;
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process for the group and engaging with senior management as necessary;
- Identifying and driving process improvements to enhance the team's performance;
- Supporting any standards requirements changes and leading impact assessment projects;
- Ad hoc reporting, analysis, and projects as they arise.
Profile
As a strong applicant for this financial accountant position you will be an ACA qualified accountant with a top tier audit/accountancy training background; listed client exposure is advantageous. You'll demonstrate strong technical IFRS/US GAAP and multi-currency knowledge. It will be essential to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a clear ability to manage deadlines.
Job Offer
The offer to the successful group accountant will be between £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience plus benefits. You will be joining a first class team which will support your development and learning as you transition into an industry position, and this will provide a further platform for opportunities in the business.
