As an Audit Manager your main responsibilities will be

  • Ensure the Division is kept up to date with Internal Audit Methodology industry wide developments
  • Contribute to the development of the Division's Methodology & Quality Assurance strategy: assess priorities and develop an action plan; and identify resources.
  • Develop and maintain the Santander UK Internal Audit methodology policy and procedures documents
  • Develop and deliver training solutions to ensure the existing members of the Division and new joiners are kept up to date with methodology requirements
  • Facilitate the Division's Annual and Quarterly Audit Planning Process
  • Coordinate reviews of the Division by Santander Spain and independent bodies including the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CIIA) and regulators such as the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

Minimum skills and experience required

  • Experience of performing internal audits and / or quality assurance reviews
  • Working knowledge of Internal Audit Methodology
  • Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work with and influence a broad range of stakeholders
  • Problem solving, innovation, process improvements and best practice

Our Triton Square office in London is conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.
