Purpose Statement To provide finance and accounting support for Accountabilities

  • Provide financial reports for the monthly board pack and for board meetings
  • Generate month end reports as required for senior management
  • Generate annual budgets and forecasts and quarterly reforecasting
  • Update corporate model as required
  • Scenario and sensitivity planning using the corporate model to assist senior management in decision making
  • Preparation of presentations to the board, brokers etc incorporating financial information
  • Support Head of Finance & Economics and the Head of IR and Corporate Analysis in all other matters that may arise, as required


  • Compliance with all Company EH&S protocols, processes and procedures
  • Support to Eashing Corporate Response team as required
  • Ensures that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and EH&S procedures
  • Support incident investigations as required

Skills, Expertise and Competencies Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferable, but not essential

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in and Oil & Gas E&P company preferable, but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • High numeracy and sound technical skills (Strong Excel skills)
  • Experience in financial modelling / forecasting preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An analytical approach to work
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good IT skills
