Business Systems Analyst - Revenue

VMware's IT-Finance group is looking for an experienced Revenue functional resource to lead the design and development of VMware's Revenue Platform and support business process and reporting in the Revenue area. Our organization supports VMware Finance function with platforms and systems capabilities. We are transforming our software delivery practices to bring in greater agility. We also use mobile and IoT technologies to deliver new digital experiences for employees, customers and partners. You will team up with a geographically distributed team of Engineers, Product Managers, QA and DevOps staff in Ireland, USA and India. You will bring your domain experience / expertise in Revenue, and drive the adoption of leading industry practices as we build a scalable Revenue platform for the long-term. As a Revenue BTA, you will be the client liaison within Information Technology (IT) working with business in running various revenue projects. You daily responsibilities will be to: Support Oracle Financials and SAP FICO modules Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops Lead Revenue projects through the VMware IT Standard Development Lifecycle Find opportunities to use VMware technology Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management Write and review QA and UAT test scripts Run UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff Help prepare of user documentation and training documentation as necessary Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements   Qualifications Experience as a Business Systems Analyst working with Oracle E-Business Financials and/or SAP ECC with a desired background in Revenue modules Significant experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis Well versed with AIM/SDLC/Agile Methodologies Technical knowledge of the key table schema for AR, GL, SC, OM and Inventory modules Strong in SQL with ability to solve issues via SQL queries Experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training Business Analyst experience in a high-tech (preferable software) company is helpful Project Management experience a plus Education : 4-year degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline Qualification in Accountancy would be a plus Oracle certifications would be a plus
