Leading Public Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with this well renowned and highly reputable firm of accountants, who are now looking to add an ambitious and experienced Corporate Tax Senior to the team in their Leeds office.

Working within this leading firm, the successful individual will have responsibility for their own portfolio of clients for all day to day aspects of the corporation tax compliance function. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of other compliance work, managing and developing more junior staff, and will be introduced to some advisory and planning work as you develop.

As a portfolio holder you will be expected to build and maintain effective relationships with your clients and will also be responsible for assisting with the supervision of Tax Assistants, reviewing their work and offering advice wherever required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of tax provisions for audit/accounts purposes
Preparation of corporation tax returns/tax computations
Advising clients of corporation tax liabilities and managing their statutory deadlines
Dealing with HM Revenue & Customs correspondence on behalf of the companies
Supervise junior staff involved in corporation tax work
Other opportunities for advisory work (international tax, property, R&D/transactional support & due diligence assignments)

ACA / ACCA Qualified or CTA Qualified or Part Qualified
