Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing company payroll for each Pay cycle.
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data
  • Direct liaison with HR Dept to ensure accuracy of employee details and overtime etc.
  • Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits and taxes and pension.
  • Communicate all relevant information with external bodies for Pension, HMRC and any Levy purposes.
  • Assisting staff with wage queries, deductions, attendance and time records
  • Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences
  • Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Complete payroll and finance reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review

Profile

The successful Candidate:

  • Experience using Sage Line 50 Payroll or any similar accounting package
  • Strong IT Skills (inc. Excel, Word and Outlook) and analytic Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organisation
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Knowledge on PAYE and pension schemes
  • Previous payroll experience of min. 2 years
