Description Category: 12 Reports to: Senior SC Account Support Officer Primary Functions: Responsible for Special Credits regulatory compliance on assigned accounts and reports. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for all Consumer, Real Estate and Overdrawn account credit bureau dispute functions. Responsible for matters relating to identity theft associated with member and non-member accounts. Responsible for all member requests to invoke Service Member Civil Relief Act. Responsible for review and subsequent actions associated with all non-amortizing, paid ahead, substandard and unclassified loan reports assigned to Special Credits. Responsible for Special Credits involvement of criminal and suspicious activity reports and actions necessary to protect credit union interests to include tracking and responding to Departments of Law regarding prosecution and restitution orders. Responsible for administration of restriction and discontinuance of member services due to account abuse or attempted abuse. Responsible for Special Credits assistance with the Dealer Loan Center regarding adverse actions associated with dealers repurchases of retail installment sales finance contracts. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years experience with financial institution with experience in areas of duties and responsibilities. Experience/Skills: In the opinion of Special Credits Management applicants must display the aptitude and ability to efficiently administer varied assignments related to duties and responsibilities. Must have and be able to display strong oral and written communication skills. Tenure: SC Account Support Officer II, Category 11 requires proven acceptable performance standards in the opinion of management that meets or exceeds expectations for proficiency and efficiency in the collection of past due financial obligations for a minimum period of twelve months as a SC Account Support Officer I. SC Account Support Officer III, Category 10 requires twelve months tenure in the SC Account Support Officer II position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations for proficiency and efficiency in collection of past due financial obligations and problem solving capacity of adverse situations involving members and their account relationships.
