Associate Manager, Financial Planning

Accountable for providing expectations for the forecasted performance and the overall profitability of the BMU P&L, influencing the roadmap of the Brand's future goals through the AOP process with both KFC US and Global leadership, and providing guidance to support all funded, RSC projects. This role coaches two direct reports and together will plan and report on all aspects of the P&L statement – specifically: profit, royalties, margin, overhead expenses, and T&E. This position is critical to achieving Brand profit annual growth targets. Planning, Analysis and Reporting (40%) – Support achievement of organization's profit targets by identifying and communicating opportunities, forecasting select P&L line items, and assisting with the QXF/PR5 submission process. Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting (20%) – Assist Financial Planning Senior Manager and Sr. Director on various ad hoc initiatives and projects, including analysis and presentations to YUM and the KFC leadership team. Period Close Process (20%) – Work closely with Control team to identify variances to forecast, minimize risks and maximize opportunities related to Brand operating profit; perform trend analysis as needed. Projects (10%) – Own the compilation and prioritization of G&A and other capital projects (includes planning and forecasting).
