ECS is seeking an experienced Analyst with a strong interest in scientific research methods to join Revenue Operations, a team specially organized to support strategic growth initiatives with advanced quantitative and experimental research methods. One of the most visible and cross-functional teams in the business, the Revenue Operations plays a central role in the continued growth and transformation of the Experian brand. The Sr. Revenue Analyst will approach business problems from a scientific stance and apply valid research methods to answer questions with rigor and confidence. This role relies heavily on experimental design, hypothetical modeling, data management and ad hoc analysis. The ideal candidate must work as an accomplished and self-reliant generalist with the ability to develop and apply more specialized skills over time. This is a formative role where the successful candidate will accumulate expertise while building credibility and influencing key decisions. With the right personality, ambition and necessary skills, the candidate can grow into a position of influence across the organization. Responsibilities: Build and maintain analytical tools for ongoing projects, including financial models, test designs and forecasts. Build and check computations for test designs and analyze ANOVA test model performance in controlling statistical noise. Support partners in data science with data and ancillary modeling. Perform decision analysis for alternative design of experiments solutions. Apply a similar framework to tactical and strategic decisions. Provide forensic criticism of the available data with respect to competing models or hypotheses. Recommend measurement solutions that address critical unknowns with appropriate confidence and economy. Help with test planning, communication, execution, monitoring and data validation. Present test findings and recommendations to the executive team. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business/Marketing or related area 3-5 years of experience in corporate analytics working on a wide range of problems Advanced knowledge in Excel Basic knowledge in SQL Preferred experience with Adobe SiteCatalyst, Tableau, R, SAS or Python Preferred experience with the procedure and vocabulary of scientific inquiry Background in e-commerce and web analytics preferred Mathematical literacy: comfortable with routine algebraic manipulation, some grasp of curve-fitting techniques, some experience with applied calculus and fair knowledge of inferential statistics Highly curious and committed to gaining proficiency in technical and mathematical material Critical, independent thinker able to challenge ideas and provide thought leadership across a broad range of subjects and functional areas Articulate, well-adjusted and comfortable with large audiences Able to balance priorities, manage expectations and respond to feedback SDL2017
