Assistant Manager/ Manager - Risk Advisory Services (Financial Sector)

WORK YOU WILL DO: 
Identify and evaluate regulatory, business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement focusing on the financial sector. Deliver compliance program support and review AML/CFT and related advisory engagements. Actively participate in decision making with engagement leadership and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions. Play substantive/lead role in engagement planning, economics, and billing. Play substantive role in the training and development of staff in addition to evaluate, counsel, mentor and provide feedback on performance of staff. Understand clients' business environment and complex risk management approaches to help identify and evaluate complex regulatory, business process and financial risks and generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.   
 
Exciting tasks await you 
 Analyzing large datasets to identify potential risk areas and recommend controls to mitigate risks. 
 Identifying control deficiencies and performing control gap analysis of financial risks related to those deficiencies. 
 Participating in the planning and testing of internal controls over financial reporting. 
 Performing risk assessments and developing risk control matrices related to ICFR readiness and testing. 
 Leading client discussions to analyze and evaluate issues in connection with business approaches and presenting recommendations based on findings.  
 Monitoring budgets to appropriately track engagement economics.  
 Liaising directly with clients and senior-level stakeholders to discuss the engagement and findings.  
 Mentoring and coaching junior team members.

You possess the following skills and experience 
 CA, ACCA, Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.  
 Four years of experience testing for internal controls over financial reporting, ICFR testing, business process assessment, risk assessment, compliance program assessment, AML/CFT advisory or look-back reviews, and control gap analysis experience within the financial services industry. 
 Experience must include one year of independently leading large and/or complex engagements demonstrating strong project management skills. 
 Position requires occasional travelling within and outside country.
