Our client is a very prestigious banking group based in the City looking for a regulatory reporting specialist. The role reports direct to the head of Regulatory Reporting, and covers all areas of Reg, including capital reporting, liquidity reporting, as well as projects and some policy work. In terms of progression the role offers excellent potential, and works within a relatively compact team where roles are particularly broad and dynamic.
Responsibilities:
Reporting;
- Production of weekly Liquidity Returns
- COREP Capital Reporting
- Production of monthly ALMM returns
- Contribution to ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP
Regulatory change:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of reporting requirements, regulatory changes and developments
- Where relevant, carry out impact analysis of proposed regulatory changes and communicate to the wider team and relevant stakeholders
- Support the regulatory change process by providing input to requirement definition documents, carrying out testing and liaising with the relevant project team as required
Stakeholder management
- Coordinate weekly liquidity review meeting, ensuring adequate commentary is provided to enable sign off of reported position
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, in particular Finance, Risk and Treasury, to ensure appropriate reviews are undertaken and sufficient challenge has taken place.
- Liaise closely with the Bank financial control team to ensure they understand requirements and are given sufficient notice of new or changing requirements in the future.
