The Group Transformation division of LBG is a core enabler of the Group's Bank of the Future ambition, to ensure that customer and colleague needs are met in alignment with Group strategy.

You'll be joining the Group Transformation business where the team works in close partnership with Transformation Product Owners and Engineering leads and their wider teams, providing financial insight, advice and control activity across Finance value streams and change programmes.

Partnering at the heart of the Bank's Transformation & technology agenda, you'll be delivering critical performance information to senior business leaders. This will involve MI, KPI and cost driver reporting, forecasting, benefits tracking and balance sheet accounting. Alongside monthly flash reporting, you'll also be leading the production and financial management of a three year cost plan. Your accountabilities will include:

* Financial management, optimisation and control of the cost base comprising, in accordance with Group policies, governance and targets
* Financial management and control of the relevant value streams supplied portfolio change activity, on behalf of Group and internal stakeholders
* The provision of insightful monthly reporting and advice to senior internal customers
* Collaborating with divisional P&L owners and reporting of planned & actual program benefits.
* Engaging with cross functional teams to deliver commercial outcomes for BAU, value streams, programmes and 3rd party contracts.
* Financial governance and management of change investment and supply activity, with appropriate efficiency metrics.
* Identifying and initiating simplification and improvement of existing financial processes.
* Playing an active team role in work stream activity, to support the successful transition & evolution of the Group Transformation Finance team.
* Creating cost optionality and transformation for businesses supported by developing a deep knowledge of the bank and divisional strategies, third party supply arrangements and technology trends.

You're a qualified accountant, with significant experience of partnering, influencing and engaging senior stakeholders. You're adept at using your well-developed commercial acumen and delivering against challenging operational and cost targets, experience which you've gained in previous financial project control roles, within complex change and/or technology environments.

You have a clear understanding of the drivers of IT costs and can demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of technology within Financial Services or Technology organisations.

You'll be a natural when it comes to relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build networks, challenge, influence and agree actions.
