THE COMPANY
Our client is a US MNC in the Engineering Industry who is now looking for a capable and driven Senior Accountant who will do a hybrid role that covers the APAC Region.
THE ROLE
* Handle month-end financial closing and reconciliation process.
* Support and assist in Cognos update for monthly closing and quarterly forecasting activities.
* Review and approve journal vouchers
* Review and approve payment proposal/vouchers
* Support weekly and monthly internal group and regional reporting.
* Business unit analysis - as required by Finance and Business Unit leaders.
* Support Forecasting & Budgeting and Long range plan activities for balance sheet and P&L
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliation
* Perform project controlling activities and project processing in IFS
* Perform POC revenue recognition and follow up with Project Management team to resolve errors
* Perform posting approval in IFS for receipts, payment, journal and supplier invoices.
* Drive audit and statutory requirements and reviews by the internal/external auditors including preparation of supporting schedules and audited accounts.
* Handle Bi-annual ICD submission
* Handle corporate tax filing, including preparation of tax schedules
* Review GST filing
* Participate in yearly internal transfer pricing review and preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
* Participate in improvement projects.
* Perform other related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Accountancy/Finance
* ACCA/CA/CPA qualified
* 5 to 6 years of similar industry experience, including 3 to 4 years of Audit experience
* Great communication and team-working skills required
