Our client, a reputable Financial Institution is looking to fill a temporary vacancy in their Investment Funds Services Operations team. This role is a 5 months contract.
Division/section
Investment funds services Operations, Customer Operations Singapore
Field of activity
The firm's investment funds services enable banks and other investment fund distributors to move towards standardization, automation and straight-through processing of investment fund orders. Being part of the Investment Funds Operations Team you will be responsible for all operations related to corporate action, depository activities including the transfer, mark-up and mark-down of fund positions to mirror the register of the fund and customer services.
Your responsibilities:
1. Operational Activities
-Ensure timely and accurate processing of trades (Mutual Funds) in a fast-paced environment.
-Perform daily checks and reconciliation with transfer agent on trades placed
-Completion of documents required by transfer agents
-Work closely within the team to ensure operations are carried out efficiently
2. Customer Service
-Provide support to clients on the day-to-day use of the firm's products and services within Client Services team
-Investigate, monitor, record and resolve any queries/issues raised by the client, such queries are received via phone calls and emails
Our requirements
-University degree and/or a comparable qualification
-Knowledge of investment funds industry is an advantage
-Pro-active attitude with strong problem solving skills, accuracy
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an international environment
-Customer oriented with excellent telephone, communication and negotiation skills
-Fluency in English, Proficiency in any other languages (Korean, Japanese) will be an added advantage
